In 1975 Gates and Allen launched Microsoft, which became the world largest PC software Company. During his career at Microsoft he held positions of chairman, CEO and chief software arquitector. Gates is one of he best known entreprenurs personal computer evolution. 

In 2000 Gates established the Bill&Melinda Gates Foundation through which he donated large amount of money to various charitable organizations and scientific research programs. 
Sincé 1987 Gates has been included in the Forbes list of the welthiest people and held it consistently from 2014 till July 2017 with an estimated net worth $89.9 billion.

In 1987 Gates has been listed in Forbes as a billionaire. He was worth $1.25 billion, and was the first world´s youngest self-made billionaire.
