In 1981 Ambani folows his father steps and establish the Reliance Comunications Limited which was focused on information and comunications tecnologies initiatives. Ambani directed and led the creation of the world´s largest grassroots petroleum refenery at Jamnagar, India which had the capacity to produce 660 mil barrels per day (or 33 million tonnes per year) in 2010.
In 2013 Ambani announced the posibility in setting up digital infrustructure for the 4G network in India. 


Ambani is an Indian richest man with a proximate net worth $42 billion. He owns a 27-store mansión in India that cost a $1 billion to built.


In 2016 Ambani launched his own 4G Smartphone Brand named LYF. It was India´s third largest selling mobile pone brand.
